Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry (“Treow Interio”, “we”, “us” or “our”) owns and operates the website https://treowinterio.in (“Platform”), through which it facilitates the sale of furniture, interior products, and related accessories (“Products”) to its users (“User”, “you”, “your”).
What is this Fees & Payments Policy?
This Fees and Payments Policy (“FPP Policy”), read together with the Terms of Use, describes Treow Interio’s accepted payment methods and the policies and procedures governing the collection and processing of fees and payments for the services and products offered through the Treow Interio website (https://treowinterio.in) (“Platform”).
The primary objective of Treow Interio is to ensure that the Platform is user-friendly, transparent, and supported by reasonable security measures to safeguard any financial or payment-related information shared by users.
Users are advised to carefully read and understand the terms of this FPP Policy. If you do not agree with the terms contained herein, you are requested not to use or access the Platform or proceed with any purchase. By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this FPP Policy and the Terms of Use, without any modification.
1. Fees for Using the Platform – Treow Interio
Treow Interio does not charge any fee for browsing or accessing the website https://treowinterio.in. However, Treow Interio reserves the right to introduce service fees or charges in the future for using the Platform as a whole or for accessing certain features or services.
In such an event, you agree to pay the applicable fees as may be notified on the Platform. Treow Interio may not always provide prior individual notice before implementing such fees. Your continued use of the Platform after any change in fees shall be deemed as your acceptance of such changes.
2. Payment Options – Treow Interio
To ensure convenience for Users, Treow Interio offers multiple payment options on its website https://treowinterio.in. Treow Interio reserves the right to add, modify, or remove any payment option at its discretion, without prior notice to the User.
The available payment options may include:
2.1. Payments through net banking facilities;
2.2. Payments using select credit cards;
2.3. Payments using select debit cards;
2.4. Payments through prepaid payment instruments, UPI, and electronic wallets;
2.5. Any other payment method that may be introduced by Treow Interio from time to time.
All the above payment methods shall collectively be referred to as “Payment Options.” While reasonable efforts are made to provide multiple banking channels, payments are accepted only through approved and supported banks and payment gateways. Treow Interio may also accept payments made using international debit and credit cards, subject to the policies of the respective issuing banks and payment gateway providers.
3. Acceptance of Payments
It is expressly clarified that acceptance of a User’s payment through the available Payment Options is solely at the discretion of Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry (“Treow Interio”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Treow Interio reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or reject any payment or transaction for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to suspected fraud, unauthorised use, violation of applicable laws, or non-compliance with our internal policies.
For the purpose of transaction verification and regulatory compliance, Treow Interio may, at its discretion, request the User to provide additional information or valid photo identity proof (such as PAN card or any other government-issued identification). Failure to provide such information when requested may result in rejection or cancellation of the payment or transaction
User Responsibility for Payment Information
While using the available Payment Options, the User agrees to provide correct, complete, and accurate financial information, including but not limited to credit card, debit card, UPI, or prepaid payment instrument details. Such information may be securely processed or stored by Treow Interio’s authorised third-party payment gateway providers, in accordance with applicable laws and industry standards.
The User shall not use any credit/debit card, bank account, or prepaid payment instrument that is not lawfully owned by them or for which they have not been duly authorised to use. The User shall be solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their payment credentials and financial information.
Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising out of unauthorised use of the User’s financial information or identity, including misuse related to the selected Payment Options.
5. Limitation of Liability for Payment Issues
Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, shall not be held responsible for, and shall not assume any liability in respect of, any loss, damage, or inconvenience suffered by a User arising out of or in connection with:
5.1. Lack of authorisation for any transaction, including transactions carried out using gift cards, vouchers, or promotional instruments issued or accepted on the Platform;
5.2. Exceeding of the credit or debit limit agreed between the User and the issuing bank or financial institution;
5.3. Any payment failure, delay, or error arising due to technical glitches, system failures, or connectivity issues during the transaction process;
5.4. Declination or rejection of a transaction for reasons beyond the reasonable control of Treow Interio, including actions or restrictions imposed by banks, payment gateways, or regulatory authorities.
6. Transaction Limits and Suspicious Activity
Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, reserves the right to impose limits on the number, value, or frequency of transactions that a User may carry out on the Treow Interio Platform. If a User exceeds such prescribed limits, Treow Interio may, at its sole discretion, refuse to process or complete such transactions.
Treow Interio further reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel transactions originating from Users who exhibit suspicious, abnormal, or questionable transaction patterns, or where Treow Interio is not satisfied with the credibility of the User or the genuineness of a transaction.
In such cases, Treow Interio may, at its discretion, delay the dispatch of the Products, cancel the transaction in part or in full, or take any other action deemed necessary to protect its interests and comply with applicable laws.
The User expressly agrees that Treow Interio shall not be liable for any loss, damage, interest, or claims arising from the refusal, cancellation, or delay in processing a transaction due to suspected fraudulent or suspicious activity on the Platform.
7. Pricing, Taxes and Errors
All Products listed on the Treow Interio Platform are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise. The User shall be responsible for payment of all fees, costs, or charges associated with the purchase of Products and agrees to bear all applicable taxes, including but not limited to Goods and Services Tax (GST), duties, and cesses, as may be applicable under Indian law.
Despite Treow Interio’s best efforts to ensure accurate pricing, there may be instances where Products are incorrectly priced on the Platform due to technical errors, system glitches, or time lags. While reasonable verification processes are followed prior to publishing Product prices, such errors may occasionally occur and are unavoidable.
For the avoidance of doubt, Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, reserves the right to take appropriate corrective action in the event of any discrepancy between the actual maximum retail price of a Product and the price displayed on the Platform. The manner in which such discrepancies shall be addressed is set out below.
7.1. Price Difference – Lower MRP on Delivered Product
If the maximum retail price (MRP) of the Product delivered to the User is lower than the price published on the Treow Interio Platform, the User shall notify Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, within 24 (twenty-four) hours from the time of receipt of the Product.
Such intimation must be sent via email to support@treowinterio.in, and shall be acknowledged by Treow Interio. Upon verification and satisfaction of the User’s claim, the difference between the purchase price paid by the User and the lower MRP shall be refunded to the User’s original payment method or bank account, as applicable, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of receipt of the written intimation.
7.2. Price Difference – Higher MRP on Platform
If the maximum retail price (MRP) of any Product listed on the Treow Interio Platform is found to be higher than the price published due to an error, and if no offer or discount is applicable on such Product, Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, reserves the right to withhold or delay the dispatch of the purchased Product until such pricing error is corrected and the User agrees to pay the applicable price difference.
In the event that the User does not agree to pay the difference amount, the User may opt to cancel the order. Upon such cancellation, the amount paid by the User shall be refunded to the original payment method or bank account, as applicable, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of cancellation.
To enable processing of such refunds, the User shall be required to send a written request via email to support@treowinterio.in. Upon successful verification, Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, shall process the refund, which shall be credited to the original source account or payment method used by the User for the initial transaction.
8. Bank and Payment Gateway Terms
To enable Users to make payments for purchasing Products on the Treow Interio Platform, in addition to this Fees & Payments Policy, the terms and conditions of the User’s respective bank, financial institution, card issuing association, or payment service provider may also apply.
The User acknowledges that their bank, financial institution, card issuer, or payment service provider may decline, restrict, or prevent electronic payments for reasons beyond the control of Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry. Treow Interio shall not be held liable for any payment failure, restriction, or decline arising from such third-party actions.
9. Third-Party Payment Service Providers
Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, may, from time to time, engage or contract with third-party payment service providers, including banks and payment aggregators, in accordance with applicable Indian laws. Such arrangements may include the opening and operation of nodal or escrow bank accounts to facilitate the secure processing and settlement of payments between Users and third parties, in addition to Treow Interio.
These third parties may include, but are not limited to, payment gateway providers, prepaid payment instrument providers, courier partners, logistics service providers, and other service partners involved in order fulfillment.
Upon successful delivery of the Products purchased by the User through the Treow Interio Platform, Treow Interio shall initiate payments or settlements to the relevant third-party service providers, as applicable.
10. Reporting Unauthorised Transactions
If a User becomes aware of any charge made on their payment instrument(s) for the purchase of Products on the Treow Interio Platform that the User does not recognise or did not authorise, the User is advised to first verify whether such transaction was carried out by a family member, friend, or authorised business associate.
If, after such verification, the User is unable to identify or confirm the transaction, the User must report the suspected unauthorised transaction to Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, within 10 (ten) days from the date on which such transaction was carried out. This shall enable Treow Interio to initiate appropriate investigations in coordination with the relevant payment gateway, bank, or financial institution, as applicable.
11. Recovery of Invalidated Payments
If a User completes a purchase on the Treow Interio Platform and the payment made in respect of such purchase is subsequently invalidated, reversed, or chargebacked for any reason (“Invalidated Payment”), Treow Interio, a brand of Treow Industry, reserves the right to recover such Invalidated Payment from the User.
The User shall, within 5 (five) days from the date of receipt of a written notice from Treow Interio, remit the Invalidated Payment to the bank account specified in such notice. If the User fails to remit the Invalidated Payment within the stipulated time despite receiving due notice, Treow Interio reserves the right to initiate appropriate civil and/or criminal proceedings, as permitted under applicable laws, at the User’s cost and risk.
